PRESS RELEASE
MOE and LBP Engineering A/S join forces to form a strong pharma unit
LBP Engineering A/S and its more than 50 employees are joining MOE. The two companies are uniting their industrial expertise to form a joint pharma unit that will be one of the biggest players on the market and cover the full range of engineering consultancy for the pharmaceutical industry and biotech companies. With the new alliance, MOE will reach a total of 1100 employees.
LBP Engineering was founded in 2004 and has formed a strong platform for specialised engineering consultancy within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In 2021, the company received Børsen Gazelle Award, an award given to Denmark’s fastest-growing companies, for the third year in a row, and LBP Engineering has now chosen to take the next step in its development by joining MOE and Artelia Group.
The two companies complement each other, and whereas LBP Engineering is highly skilled when it comes to process engineering, tests and qualifications, MOE possesses all other engineering skills. Together, the two companies make up a full-service consultant that can take on all projects from the initial concept and development phase until the project is in full operation.
Denmark is known for its large pharmaceutical companies several of which are among the world’s leading companies. As the CEO of MOE, Christian Listov-Saabye, explains, the market for new and larger production capacities is growing:
“The last few years, we have seen an increase in the number of exciting pharma projects from several of the largest companies in Denmark. There is an extremely high demand for specialised consultancy which is why I am happy to announce that, together with LBP Engineering, we will be among the leading consultants on the market and offer full-service consultancy to our clients.”
Specialists in processing equipment
Lars Bøgelund Jørgensen and Lars Bjarne Pedersen are the two founders of LBP Engineering. Today, the company has 56 highly qualified employees who primarily work with pharma and biotech clients but also with projects in the energy sector. Their extensive knowledge of the rules and requirements applicable to the industry combined with an in-depth understanding of process engineering are significant qualifications, and the company’s concept is based on substantial practical experience and specialist skills within pharmaceutical and biotechnical production.
By joining MOE, LBP Engineering gains access to one of Denmark’s largest engineering companies where 1100 employees cover all engineering services within industry, buildings and civil works.
The alliance between LBP Engineering and MOE makes up a new strong pharma unit managed by Lars Bøgelund Jørgensen, who is excited about this next big step:
“I am excited to bring LBP to the next level together with MOE on this growing market. Joining MOE also provides LBP’s employees with new opportunities as they will now get more than 1000 new colleagues in the Nordic countries and many more around Europe, moreover, MOE is known as an attractive workplace with a good sense of community.”
LBP Engineering’s founder Lars Bjarne Pedersen is equally excited to join MOE:
”Through the years, LBP’s employees have shown our clients their professional skills, and it is with great joy that I look forward to working with both former and new clients with this significant increase in skills within many new disciplines.”
