To this end, LBP Engineering initiated a series of workshops during which lab users were involved both separately and united to map out all wants and needs. Joint expectations were a particular focus area in that process.
“Because of the limited space, it was clear to us from the beginning that no one would be entirely satisfied in terms of space and equipment. This made it paramount to consider early on how the reconstruction process was best managed, and to have this discussion out in the open. We use close stakeholder management as a tool in these types of workshops. This approach is an integral part of the typical LBP workshop,” says Morten G. Hansen.
The workshop series at AGC Biologics has had a particular emphasis on the need to construct the three new labs while the surrounding facilities – including several production lines – were kept in operation. The new labs were put into service in May 2020.
